200Hz. Read that again. The Dell SE2725HG takes a 27-inch 1080p IPS panel and pushes the refresh rate to 200Hz — territory that used to cost twice as much. If your games are fast and your reactions need to be faster, this is your monitor.
Dell’s S-series has quietly become a value gamer favorite: clean design, reliable panels, and straightforward OSDs without gamer-cringe aesthetics. The IPS panel keeps colors honest, and at 200Hz with adaptive sync, motion in CS2, Valorant, and Apex feels liquid.
The honest caveat: 1080p stretched across 27 inches is soft if you sit close — this is a monitor for competitive players who prioritize frame rate over pixel density, not for 4K movie nights. Pair it with a GPU that can actually push 200fps in your games, or you’re paying for headroom you won’t use. Who buys this? The ranked grinder who wants the highest refresh per dollar Dell sells. At around $145, the SE2725HG is the speed king of its price class.
