If you play a lot — ranked ladders, long sessions, multiple genres — the Elite Series 2 is the controller everything else gets measured against. Four removable back paddles, adjustable-tension thumbsticks, trigger locks for hair-trigger shots, and wrap-around rubberized grips. Three onboard profiles you can swap mid-game, a carrying case with charging dock, and interchangeable thumbsticks and D-pads. Set one profile for shooters, another for racing, another for casual play — switch without touching a menu. It’s the priciest standard pick and heavier than the base controller — worth it only if you’ll use the pro features. If gaming is your main hobby, this is the last controller you’ll need for years.
